Your new prescription will be sent electronically and will be ready to collect from a nominated chemist of your choice. All repeat prescriptions are processed within 24 to 48 hours.
If you are on regular medication and the doctor feels it is appropriate, the prescription can be issued on a repeat basis.
The right-hand side of the computer generated prescription will the list the drugs you can have on repeat.
It will take two working days to process these prescriptions so please ensure you do not completely run out of medication.

You can sign up to NHS App to order your repeat medication, access your medical record, book an appointment and also access medical advice. You can use the NHS app by visiting www.nhs.uk/nhsapp for more information.
You can also contact us online to order your repeat prescription.
Medication Reviews
There will be a review date printed on the right-hand side. You may order your prescriptions up until this review date. After that date the pharmacist will contact by telephone for your medication review to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions been issued.
Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
You are now able to nominate a Pharmacist of your choice to send your prescriptions to. When you order your repeat medication, your prescription will be sent directly to the Chemist you have selected via our EPS system and be available to collect 48 hours later.
